This 7.5 hour RACGP accredited course is designed to develop or refresh understanding of menopause management in primary care.
The menopause management and mini audit course has 2.5 hours of self-paced online learning and a 5-hour mini audit.
The course is suitable for health practitioners looking to increase confidence in menopause consultation with particular emphasis on management and prescribing. This course is designed for doctors and nurse practitioners working at a primary care level.
This course is developed and delivered by GP medical educators who share their experience and tips for menopause management.
A mini audit on menopause management is included which requires analysis of 5 or more of your own patient consultations, which is RACGP accredited for 5 measuring outcomes hours. The course is approved for Women’s Health Specific Interest requirement.
This course is open to doctors and nurse practitioners who manage and prescribe to menopausal patients.
Training may be considered for other health care professionals, including registered nurses, enrolled nurses, midwives and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners, but please be aware there is an emphasis on prescribing and the mini audit component involves auditing your own menopause consultations.
This activity has been approved for Women’s Health Specific Interest requirement.
