Overview

SHV can tailor sessions or consultations for unique requirements. Organisations or care teams sometimes need a consultation to help with individual participants. Organisation-wide consultation or learning to support sexuality of people with cognitive disability can be arranged. These sessions can be delivered on location at our offices, at your premises or online. (no private homes).

Process

Contact our disability team to discuss suitability. We will then provide an intake form for completion. This is used to prepare strategies and resources. Consultation and advice will be provided during a one-hour face-to-face meeting. This can be arranged online or in- person.   

Topics include sexuality, diversity, gender, puberty, public and private, consent, relationships, dating, communication, pornography, masturbation, contraception, and Sexually Transmissible Infections.
