This 9.5 hour course is designed to develop or refresh understanding of today’s contraception options. A 5-hour mini-audit activity is also available.
Study online at your own pace through interactive learning modules developed by experts in contraception clinical practice and education. This 9.5 hour course is designed for doctors, nurses and midwives wanting to develop or refresh their understanding of today’s contraception options. Training may be considered for other health care professionals, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the latest contraception options available in Australia and learn how to safely apply this knowledge in the clinical setting.
Please note that some of this course content is also included the online component of the Comprehensive Reproductive and Sexual Health (Nursing) course. It is also included in the online & virtual classroom version of the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors.
This course is open to doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, enrolled nurses, midwives and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners.
