This online learning activity will give you the knowledge and resources to enable you to support and empower young people to access sexual health services and make positive decisions about their reproductive and sexual health.

Content Includes

  • An overview of young people’s sexual health in Australia.
  • Barriers young people may face accessing services
  • Ways to consider improving a young person’s access to use a sexual health service
  • Information about Victorian sex and the law

Entry Requirements / Eligibility

This module is intended for Victorian based professionals working in the youth and community sector who support young people outside of the mainstream secondary school settings or at-risk young people aged 12-25. This may include, but is not limited to, young people who: are in out-of-home-care settings; attend alternative education settings; are affected by homelessness; are affected by substance use; identify as LGBTQA+

Course Outcome
