CERSH – Answering Questions with Confidence – Relationships and Sexuality Education

This online learning course will empower participants to cultivate both knowledge and confidence in crafting responses that are age and developmentally appropriate when addressing student inquiries related to Relationships and Sexuality Education. Example questions from students and responses from experienced sexuality educators are provided. This course includes visual, audio and interactive components. Participants can navigate the course at their own pace.

Participants will:

• identify methods of best practice in answering questions about Relationships and Sexuality Education
• establish a framework in which to formulate age- and developmentally-appropriate responses to student questions
• explore an extensive suite of student questions (primary and secondary) with recommended, evidence-based responses
• gain confidence in addressing sensitive topic areas such as reproduction, contraception or pleasure.
