Our CBD clinic at 94 Elizabeth St, Melbourne is being relocated to 901 Whitehorse Rd, Box Hill, 3128. This change will allow us to provide care in a larger, modern, and more accessible space while keeping the same high-quality services you’ve come to expect.

Why the move?

The CBD clinic has space and accessibility limitations.

Moving to Box Hill allows us to:

• Increase the number of consulting rooms from six to nine at Box Hill
• Provide more appointments at Box Hill
• Provide improved access for everyone
• Deliver care in a more modern, spacious environment.

Key Dates

• 4 May: Last day to book new appointments at CBD
• 27 May: Final CBD clinic appointments.

If you have had a pre-IUD appointment at CBD, you can schedule your IUD insertion at Box Hill without the need for an additional pre-IUD appointment.

Appointments and Fees

Billing policies and fees remain the same; there is no increase in gap fees at Box Hill in comparison to the out-of-pocket expenses in our CBD clinic.

Your Medical Records:

• All medical files are stored electronically and securely, so there is no need to move any physical records
• Your privacy is continually maintained during the transition
• Box Hill clinicians will have access to your test results medical records as required, to ensure a smooth transition of care.

You don’t need to do anything – your care will automatically continue at Box Hill.

Clinical Services

Box Hill offers all services previously available at CBD, including:

• Face-to-face appointments
• Telehealth appointments, where clinically appropriate
• Support to transfer your care to another provider if preferred.

Transferring Your Care to Another Provider

If you choose not to move to Box Hill, staff can assist with:

• Requesting a health summary or transfer of your medical record
• Completing a Health Records Request Form
• Sending your records securely to your chosen provider.

If you cannot attend Sexual Health Victoria in Box Hill, these service providers are available to support your care. Alternative bulk-billing sexual health services include:

• Thorne Harbour Pronto
• Centre Clinic
• Equinox Clinic
• Other GPs
