Relationships and Sexuality Education for Health and Wellbeing Staff who Support Students with Disability in Mainstream School Settings

This professional learning workshop is designed for those working with and supporting students with cognitive disability in mainstream school settings. Suitable for professionals who are working with students with disability in a more individual way, we will provide information on how to best support the relationships and sexuality information needs and skills of these students.

This online learning course contains the SHV Disability Resource teaching activities. Also find guidance on delivering developmentally appropriate Relationships and Sexuality Education to young people with cognitive disability along with recommendations for additional resources.

These self-paced online modules are for parents and carers of young people with disability. Registration will grant access to an online learning module containing guidance, information and resources to help parents navigate the topic of sexuality with their young person. Written by expert disability and community educators. Registrants will have access to the materials for 6 months.
